My husband just got a samsung galaxy tablet and he loves it. It's android based, don't know what your daughter needs, but might be worth looking into. He paid around 300$ for a 10.1"
Hope you find something that will work for her![]()

Thank you Stacy!
Well,..considering that I will have to make her feel "accomodated" somewhat because she has ADD/ADHD, PTSD, and intense anxiety I'm going to have to make the screen as large as possible plus she has bad vision too. I will have to either go 14" or larger and I'm really considering a desktop and a complete office like space upstairs for her to study in. She only needs 10 measly credits, then she gets a newer car. It still isn't enough incentive for her, but the mini office may just be the ticket...I hope!!![]()
OK!
Finally..something good. I've been away from the forums for awhile, that's how I focus on a pretty important tasks but it is nearly now completed.
Obviously, my daughter needed for something to happen that was positive for her, she was using these computer issues as a means to ignore schooling.
She wasn't in a rush to get back to school after the holidays and as of this day, still hasn't..but, she has NO fuggin excuse now!!
Got her a computer desk, chair, painted to her liking of course, annnddddd someone brought me over a computer that just needed hacked, and some updates done.
Well, I'm in and it's clean and it's updating now...
A 15" Compaq laptop, about 3 years old...good to go for a few more years and only minimal investment in it too....
This is a good thing, makes me feel like I actually accomplished something, and now maybe she will too.
Hope everyone else is doing well!
Going to get back to my forum friends here reallllll soooonnnn....

Don't you miss the days of just needing a few binders and paper to complete your work?
My kids look like they are going on a 2 week vacation when they leave everyday with their backpacks

Something good I hope...(weird is what it is)..odd, rare..
1. First off, have we lost Jesse to alcohol?...CMON MAN!!! Haven't seen him all day.. Anyone?
2. Hopefully he didn't OD on that box I sent him..
3. Haven't seen some of our other Veteran members either today...What's your take on this, and who comes to mind????
4. I do want to see people recover, get better, succeed,...but it will (generally) take continued support and therapy to do that. It may just "pop up" but it rarely ever just "pops out"....
5. Let's see...got my daughters issue dealt with nicely...(youngest)
6. Taking my oldest to the doctor on Monday, 10am...(was an addict until 16 days ago)..hard core stuff.
7. My tv quit working last week in the living room. (like I care)..but I needed to find a replacement anyway. I was upstairs yesterday and opened the door to a spare room we never use. There was a giant TV sitting in the hallway? WTF? I asked lil C who's it was? IDK...Oh well, it works. Just weird....
8. Went to Goodwill yesterday just to have something to do. They had all kinds of cool (high end) sound equip in there for like $15!...I like loud music. I bought it..Oh, and in case you're in America and need a TV or whatever,, they have them there for $10 to $15 too....weird. and working, with remotes....
9. The new meds are helping me to walk easier, so that's good. weird....could hardly walk for 20 months, here try this, ok,..I can walk better....unreal.
10. Hope everyone out there in the Anxiety Forums has a great weekend and finds something good to share too!...It may be right in front of your face too!...YAY!!!!

Don't just look for the positives mate rinse out every last bit of positivity you can find, let yourself forget as much of the negative as you can. From what I read of your posts you strike me as someone who deals with life one obstacle at a time. Have faith in yourself and you will overcome
Thank you Terre and Jazz!
Doing ok..just reading up about RLS that my oldest daughter has had since about age 15 er so..Want to be prepared for what the Doc may say on Monday. It is nearly disabling her..
Yes Jazz, exactly. (1) issue at a time, full steam ahead until it's either corrected or at least much more tolerable and understandable by all parties involved. I don't know any other way to deal with them, and I don't let them become a huge pile (which is at least partly why my anxiety is like a .5 on a 1 to 10 scale.....
Have a great night friends.

Good day overall and learning more about something else too. I love to learn about new things!
