Thanks bro! Busy week last week getting the kids back to college and high school and me back to work after a three and a half week vacation. I also have been working hard on the book. I also have to pay occasional heed to my own raft of problems to make sure I don't capsize and continue to make headway down the river. I have also started handing out my gifts to folks who have donated to my fund raising cause that is paying for the professional design and editing of the second edition of the book once the first edition is completed and posted on my blog. All in all, I am busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest.

I haven't been Mr. Excitement and bundles of joy today becauseeeeee my daughter tells me that she can't do her schoolwork on her new tablet (7"). Because it is lacking some particular something that the website requires to function properly...f**k.....and that was the point of the Xmas gift. Something compact, touch, to do this work.

SOOOOOO...I took all 4 of these other sloowwwwww laptops in to see what they are worth, or if they can have some added ram or something else to speed them up? Nope..the computer guru guy said that they're not worth putting any money into even though 3 of them work, you just have time to make a pot of coffee before a page loads. They're all 3 Dell, and 1 Toshiba. I lovveeedddd that Toshiba, until the hard drive crashed. So,...now I have to get another new laptop or she won't be able to do a damn thing. And, her ADD prevents her from sitting here to do it...grrrr....It's only money. Just kindof a bummer.

Ok, something good. Um, I guess I feel ok so that's good just not a bundle of baha or rolleyes at the moment. Weird feeling for me, because my original plan was a failure. I hate failure...

I'm still trying to figure out where the best computer, for the best price, actually is....
It's worse than buying a friggin car!
It did however, cuase me to dig out all of my old stereo equipment that's some higher end stuff to go make a deal with a pawn shop or something.
They have a computer that would suit her just fine, and it would help her to get some of this educational crap out of the way. She only needs 10 credits to graduate.
I just have to get her set up to make this happen now...It really just pisses me off that I have 3 working laptops, that none will do what she needs (the site doesn't work)
Outdated, old, but doesnt have any problems with this, or Facebook, or whatever else...grrrrrr... I'm still in grrrr mode, until I accomplish this task.
It's just how I "am"....a challenge that must be focused on, to make it all come together...simple, one would think, in the Grand Scheme of things..LOL!!!

I did just learn that the new Windows 8 sucks ass, from a highly trained geek....Said I should try to find one that still has Windows 7 on it!!!...BUT, all the new ones have 8!!!!! OMGEEE....yay
