Shout if you want any dog advise. My puppy turns 12 in a month. Dogs can be very therapeutic whether it's to get you off your butt and out of the house for a walk or someone to pet and snuggle who never judges you.
Ok I definitely will then!! I have not owned a dog since I was 10, that I called my own...I don't know much of anything about them, except walk, run, bark, eat, and poo!!..maybe growl too....LOL!!
With a 150lb beast you are going to want to make sure to get some early training in for not pulling on the leash and a lot of obedience. You don't want a huge dog thinking it can do what it wants. Lots of love and positive reinforcement. Then you can ride it like a pony lol.
I finally figured out why my Doc would offer me a puppy...it had everything to do with why I was even in the office today. Because my legs still don't work right after 20 months...and I was asking if maybe she could change my physical therapy orders to working on my legs so I don't walk like I'm crippled....That's when she asked about the puppy..I know what she was thinking, it'll get me out walking it. I won't have any choice even if it hurts. Wow....
And oddly enough, there are 3000 of these dogs (breed) in the US...there are also about 3000 people in this World with what I and my sister have with these diseases...
It was "supposed" to happen this way.. there's some reason for everything, they're just hard to find sometimes.
Eman I am not against puppy, I am dog crazy person. Do you know they drool? heheheh
