The ironic thing is, Mr. Poet, she was recently whining about doing her regular tours and had headed to Aberdeen, only to be ghosted by a client when she was there. I also think I should stop telling them my name and about my film roles, or whatever. While it may seem innocent to just chat away to come across as pleasant, they can use info like your real name and photos and date of birth to record facts about you, so you lose your anonymity.

While I can appreciate from their end, they probably do put up with creepy or dishonest people mucking them about, they really have no room to talk if you're giving them the benefit of the doubt, sending them a deposit, just to be fucked about. And if this deposit is credit based, it's easier to screw you over.

Genuinely never seems to occur to the cock-chancre that it is the creepy dishonest person they are all trying to avoid, does it?

The deposit thing is actually because they have guidelines about the new clients they may agree to accept. So if you sign up and have no feedback, they either want a deposit upfront, or sometimes to be provided with a reference. But not every user on AW is a scammer. There's just no way of knowing if they are one, even if they have a lot of feedback themselves.
