Maybe this has been discussed before but is anyone familiar with this time management technique (http://www.pomodorotechnique.com/book.html)? I've been trying it: it's been tremendously helpful in reducing my anxiety and procrastination when it comes to getting work (or any tasks) done. I've been able to realize where I underestimate how much time I need for certain things and start to realize where I waste time. It's also a great way to train your mind to focus. What he says in the introduction about how much of our anxiety has to do with how we experience time vs how much work we see ourselves as needing to get done is absolutely true for me. Dividing time into discrete chunks where I only focus on one thing for the duration of a 'chunk' makes a huge difference.
