My psychiatrist says there is going to be a test coming out in the next ten years where they can give you a physical test and it will reviel if you suffer from anxiety, depression, panic, bipolar, schizophrenia..etc.
Just wondering if anyone had info on this? In ten years, I would be 40 and would love a formal diagnosis. Also, I would like one of my children tested as I suspect OCD and panic attacks with her. It took me a few years to believe that I suffered from anxiety, when I had so many aches and pains...ya know.

I would appreciate any info.

Thats news to me. I will look foward to that test also. In the meantime, I think self-diagnosis is extremely important cause not all doctors can recognize anxiety the first time they see it. Took me 8 visits to my doc until anxiety even became an option!

hey thanks for the reply. Yes, it took me 2 emergency visits in 2 years to find out that it was anxiety. When I found out, I did not know what the word meant. Boy, I sure do now.

Thanks
