how long for cipralex to start workin?

Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone is on the tablet cipralex and if so how long did it take to start workin for you? I have been signed off work for two weeks and am hoping the tablets work quick as I want to get back to my normal routine and don't even feel up to seeing my boyfriend and am scared to tell him how I am feeling incase he thinks I am crazy! Any advice is appreciated. THanks

Antidepressants usually take a few weeks to work. In a few days, you might notice your first side effects. Probably just tiredness, or a headache. That's it. It will take about 8 weeks for maximum benefit.
