So, i was kind of wondering if anyone was on any similar combination of drugs as i am. Some of it is for anxiety, but also for pain management. I have 3 herniated discs in my lower back so i am seeing a chiropractor and taking pain meds. I also take cholesterol meds because im a big guy and heart disease runs in my family. So! My list.
Ativan (Lorazepam) 2mg 3x Day (Anti-Anxiety)
Celexa (Citalopram) 20mg 1x Day (Anti- Depressant)
Vicodin (Hydrocodone) 10mg 3x Day (Narcotic Pain Reliever)
Soma (Carisoprodol) 350mg 3x Day (Muscle Relaxer)
Ultram (Tramadol) 50mg 3x Day (Pain Reliever)
Trilipix (Fenofibric Acid) 135mg 1x Day (Cholesterol Med)
Aspirin 325mg 1x Day (Blood Thinner)
Fish Oil 2400mg 1x Day (Anti-Inflammatory, brain health, heart health, just about everything health)
So! yea, it's an odd combination but i don't really have any side effects, at least nothing horrible. I get dry mouth sometimes, perhaps some constipation or diarrhea. The Trilipix makes me pee a lot. I used to get a little woozy with the pain meds, but i don't any more. I'm really not even certain if the Ativan is doing anything any more. I have been on it for 4 years at fairly high doses but if anything my mind thinks it works, so i keep taking it. The other stuff is for my heart. It's hard for me to exercise because of my back so i am trying to fend off heart disease while i'm young. (i'm 23 btw) Also, i have noticed heart burn more recently. I NEVER got it before, but i suppose it could just be part of getting older. So anyone have any thought? Any similar combination?
