I was reading that one of the side effects is white sores in the mouth, does anyone know if it is a dangerous side effect or if it is just an annoyance

I don't know if this particular side effect of Seroquel is dangerous. But many other side effects (such as the extrapyramidial symptoms) ARE dangerous. One such side effect, tardive dyskinesia (a movement disorder) can become permanent, even after discontinuation of the drug. For this reason, I don't think Seroquel is an appropriate medication to use for anxiety disorder unless everything else has failed. If you have not yet tried all other milder medications, I would suggest seeing a different doctor.

Thanks for the reply. I am also on lexapro, trazodone and remeron for my anxiety. it is quite severe and last month my father in law committed suicide and my wife and I were the ones to find him and the mess he left behind. So things have gotten worse for me and the rest of my family. My shrink was on holidays and I go see her again today so she may want to change things up.
I just got back from my appointment and she wanted me to go off the seroquel and increased my remeron to 30mg and my trazodone to 100 mg. I see her again in 2 weeks so I will see how it goes
