Hiya Guys.
I just wanted to know iff anyone was/is taking Dosulepin and has had probs when they have reduced their dosage.
I was firstly diagnosed with anxiety in August 08.
I was started on Mirtazapine but came off them after a few months as i had gained to much weight.
November o8 i was started on Dosulepin and i am still taking them 75mg at night.
July this year i was diagnosed with haning an underative thyroid.
When my g.p gpt round to testing my thyroid the blood tests showed that i was badly under active.
So for the past 4 months i have had to have blood tests every 6 weeks to see how im doing and to get my levels back to normal.
The proble that i have found is that before i was diagnosed with thyroid probs i tried to reduce the dosuleoin from 75 mg a night to 50 mg.
I was fine for 3 weeks but then became worse so had to go back up to the original dosage.
When i did after about 2 weeks i felt fine.
So i tried it again and the same thing has happened again.
My g.p told me to leave it for a few more weeks and we can have another chat about it then.
Im also worried that iff i do manage to get off these srrs will my anxiety return.
Last year i was having terrible panic attacks and didnt leave my house for 4 months as i was to afraid to go out.
