I read that Thorazine has cns-depressant qualities. I'm wondering if it would help with my anxiety. Apparently it turns you into feeling like a zombie - sedated, tranquilized, and calm. That's what i'm looking for. I know there are side-effects like dry mouth, etc. I'm already on antipsychotics so it would be simply a switch and not adding something entirely new. What do you think? Are any of you on Thorazine? What are your experiences with it? Does it help with anxiety? Does it keep you calm? If there are any experts reading, i'd really appreciate your input too. Thanks.

Thorazine has been called a "chemical lobotomy" because of the similar effects it creates. Briefly, a lobotomy destroys partially or completely all functioning of the frontal lobes.
Anxiety is a psychological and physiological state characterized by cognitive, somatic, emotional, and behavioral components.Anxiety is a generalized mood condition that occurs without an identifiable triggering stimulus.
