Existential anxiety/depression

Having no spiritual guidance in my life, I've kind of developed this sense of uselessness in that i feel like life doesn't matter. Yet, at the same time, I have a large amount of angst feeling that life is fragile, prone to accidents and sadness. Lately, I have been trying to find peace within myself. I've been trying to guide myself. If anyone has or is going through this, I would very much like to talk and share ideas with you.

I haven't been going through this, but it sounds like what you are going through is a healthy step in the right direction. To have all that angst and that your life doesn't matter, yet you are strong enough to consider looking for yourself for guidance, must feel riveting having those ditchotomous feelings occur simoltaneaously.
