hi i've registered to this board because i've started to experience panic attacks lately

had to phone in work sick at times and had to get out of work a few times, afraid incase i might lose my job

i can't focus on anything in work

i keep getting these weird feelings, really tingly all over the body constantly, getting high body temperatures, shakey hands, pain in the muscles a lot, stiff necks, nervous twitch, pains were the spinal tail is at, thoughts in my head panicking incase i might collapse, really spaced out heads

used to love being in big crowds but now i just get paranoid and hate going to places where a lot of people would be at

was wondering if anyone could help me out

I went through the same thing and I'm still recovering from my panic attacks from over two weeks ago. The first thing to realize is that you have to make some changes for the better, such as eating a lot more healthier food (fruites, veggies, etc). Next, you have to get some regular exercise. I would start by just walking around the block a few times. Yoga is a great exercise for the mind and body. I also bought: "Anxiety & Panic Attacks. Their Cause and Cure by Robert Handly. This book is a few years old, but is a great source and it has helped me out a lot. The only thing you have to fear is fear itself, so keep telling yourself that you are calm, at peace and are healthy. Each day you will get better, but it will not go away instantly as we all would like it to, but it will eventually go away if you take care of yourself mentally and physically. Hang in there!
