Obligatory tacky hello post

Hi All-

The short version...
Long time Panic disorder sufferer. About 20 years now I guess. Had a bad onset period, then went into kind of a remission for about 10 years. It flared up, complete with a dumb trip to the ER. Since then I've been pretty good for another 10 years. Within the last two months it's back again with a vengeance, including some new (to me) symptoms. I'll elaborate in a post later in a more appropriate forum.

My interests include sci-fi (obsession almost, books, movies, and tv). Football and baseball, and Information and Network Security.

I look forward to meeting you guys, learning, and maybe even a little teaching in the days to come.

To the staff- thank you so much for making this forum for us and for the work that goes into it day in and day out. Having run several forums and moderated some very large ones, I know it's no picnic. So thank you!

So almost 24 hours and the post I tried to start in General Discussion has not posted? When I submitted it, it said it needed to be reviewed by a moderator. So here I am, still no post. I had hoped, in looking at the member numbers that this board had a lot of traffic, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Thank you for the welcome Kirk and Gypsy, but I think I'm going to move on and look for another forum.
