Yes it is the generic version of Zoloft... i was on it for 2 years and it helped a little bit, my doctor slowly increased the dosage because my anxiety has gotten worse over the years but it recently hasn't been working the way it should be. If you have mild anxiety or social anxiety it's a very good medication for that.

I have extreme anxiety and I started off on 50mils and then went up to 100mils but my doctor told me that the dosege can't go any higher then that

Give it at least 4 weeks and if it isn't helping then I would talk to your doctor about an alternative medication. I just found that it didn't work that well for me as my anxiety progressed through the years. At first it worked but then it kind of stopped. Yeah there isn't a higher dose than 100 mgs. Most anti-depressants are 100mg and under.

I've been on Sertraline for almost 4 months and it has helped me alot

I am on Sertraline...only 25 mg....i heard it is hard to get off of! Does anyone else experience dizziness with it? I still have it after 8 months of taking it!! ugggh so miserable..and I still get anxious and can't relax sometimes
