Every year I seem to get a new fear when something doesn't go right. Last year I had bad Gerd problems and had trouble breathing at times and thought I had a serious problem and it took over my thoughts 24-7 for a couple months. Eventually I got over it, probably because I went on to new fear. I got the stomach bug a few weeks back and was up all night. Now I have issues sleeping and it's controlled by negative thinking and anxiety. I'm scared and feel like shit. I'm real confused. Why do I bounce around from fear to fear? I look back at my old fears and laugh at how stupid it was

The good news is, you know its anxiety. You just need to learn to control your medical anxiety (meaning your trigger is common medical maladies). I think we all fit into this a little bit. You're not alone and you're fine.
