Hey. I believe on here I would rather be known by the initials LBK. It's a character I play, but the character is quite shy, much like I am. I'm 28, and have been suffering with, and overcoming in come cases, anxiety since my parents moved me to a private school my fifth grade year... so yeah, a long time. Anyway... just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm female, and currently taken. Though, my boyfriend, whom I love very much, we live about 15 hours apart. I'm going to be moving to his parents place soon, but I think that's trying to trigger an anxiety attack in itself. I was all for the move up until a couple of days ago... but I know it'll be a lot better when I get out there.

Hi ibk,

I'm shy too, no worries :)

Long distance relationships can be hard to maintain, but as you say, since you'll be moving in with him soon, you'll not have to worry about the distance anymore. Sure, moving in with parents is always a challenge, but hopefully you'll find you can enjoy the company of his family.

Good luck and I hope the move goes well.

I wish the best for you. I developed anxiety when I was about 13 (because I had to relocate to another country). But now for the most part I've overcome it. I think moving anywhere is an anxious experience, especially moving in with the parents of your boyfriend. I'd be nervous too. It's really a normal reaction and I don't necessarily think it's because of the SA disorder

Good luck with moving and getting used to the new place!
