For how long have you been on Xanax, did you feel any addiction ? i am afraid to take it as i heard many stories about people who moved from treating anxiety to treating addiction which is scary

I've been afraid too, of taking Xanax. I have a script right now sitting in my drawer! If you're afraid of addiction, as I am, you can take Tranxene, which is what I take. It's slower acting and has a longer half life, and has very, very little chance of addiction. (because you don't get that "immediate" boost right away).

RL -I am so glad the Xanax and Zoloft are helping you. Try to let the Zoloft do most of the work and rely on the Xanax as needed, if you can. What dosages do you take?
