This is the third time in 8 years that I went to the neurologist to get my brain checked. MRI of course did not show anything abnormal. So my neurologist says that my anxiety and stress have reached a new level. He does not think I display the typical kinds of symptoms someone with dementia would have. I can understand that he thinks that my light sensitivity, being tired every day for 3 years now, feeling detached, having pain in my right shoulder, neck and arm, that does not go away, memory problems and burning of my right side of the face plus pressure pain that moves around my skull could be clear indications of an anxiety disorder. But I don`t get the classic symptoms of stomach problems, breathing problems and palpitations which I find rather confusing.
I was told to find a way to relax more and to accept that everything is OK and that there is no physical illness that causes my worsening situation. Easier said then done, right?
