I have been on wellbutrin the last 2 weeks, started at 100 mg for first week and half, then up to 100mg twice a day for the past 3 days. Really have been having axiety/increase pulse rate, and feeling dizzy and out of it.
My doc said I can go off of it.
Can wellbutrin be causing the increased pulse rate??

It IS possible. Wellbutrin is different from most anti-depressant medications in that it deals with dopamine and norephinephrine instead of the usual serotonin ones. I didn't personally experience this, but I've heard of a lot of people who have because it's more of a stimulating anti-depressant than a downer anti-depressant if that makes any sense. It was recommended to me that I take it in the AM so it didn't affect my sleep at all...as a poor night's sleep will only cause more anxiety and stress the following day.
