Increase olanzapine dosage

Hi everybody. I am tommival and I write to you from Italy.

Now I'm taking 2,5 mg of olanzapine for anxiety. It works quite good. But this dosage is not enough for some situations. Is there anybody that turned up his dosage from 2,5 mg to 5 mg and had advantages? And is there anybody that takes olanzapine for anxiety, as me?

Hello I have been on Olanzapine 5mg for 2 years now but started at 2.5mg. You shouldn't really be taking Olanzapine for anxiety, i take it because I get racing thoughts, bad thinking patterns and i had a psychotic episode, which i guess causes a lot of anxiety. There is an advantage by going up your dosage but I really have to say you should look into a different medication because I wish i was off it now, there are too many negative side effects which i get that does my brain in. The side effects i get is I have put on about 30kgs rapidly and i have to go for a walk everyday and do karate just to fight it and second it makes you dopey to the point you just feel brain dead at times.
