Okay, so I'm very anxious about the fact that where I live will be underwater in the next fifty years due to climate change. As a result, it's hard for me to conduct anything in daily life knowing that everything in my home will be underwater soon and that I should evacuate now before the massive flood of environmental refugees start flowing out of where I live. After all, I have to consider the lives of the hypothetical children I may one day have.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? What's worked for you?

My house flooding isn't a real concern to me, as I live on a tall hill.

When it comes to natural disasters, where I live in Maine, United States, is a very safe place to live. Sure, we often get harsh winters. But we don't get significant earthquakes, and tornadoes around here are sort of rare.

So what my point is that I cope with fears of natural disasters by knowing that I live in a safe part of the world. It really helps me.

That's what climates do, they change!
