Why isn't the seroquel working for me like it used to. I have to take it every night at 50mg. It acts as a sedative but it just isn't working. Does anyone else take this.

Meds affect everyone differently. It would be best if you speak to your doctor about it. He/She would know best.

seroquel is used off-label for sleeping. meaning, its primary function isnt a sedative -- it just so happens it knocks you out. 50mg is a pretty low dose of seroquel, and its possible youve just developed a tolerence to the sedative effects at that dose. See if your doctor wants to switch meds, or bump you up to 100mg.
