Hello all!
I am glad to have found this forum as I have been a long time sufferer of anxiety and panic attacks. Since I was a teen, I have felt bouts of dread and doom. Social anxiety has caused me to become reclusive. I'm still a nice person and would help anyone if needed, but I tend to avoid person-to-person conversations like the plague because I don't know what to say. I'm a "non-conversationalist" in real life social situations, I guess. Online, I'm more relaxed with speaking to others. Believe it or not, I did have this anxiety bug all under controlled at one time. However, I am currently in the midst of being lovesick and a parent to my DD and darling canine while having a bed bug infestation (YIKES! - just found out two days ago). My symptoms have exacerbated tremendously, and I am on the brink of madness since I feel all alone in this mess. My spouse is working out of town. So, I'm stuck doing the dirty work. I hope to feel better soon while keeping everything in order. It's hell dealing with this invisible enemy. Most of my friends and family do not know the extent of my anxiety issues because I decline to share for fear of misunderstanding. Although, I have shared with a few of them, and they are dismissive at my struggle because they do not understand. I really don't even understand how I got this way and why my body has to act so strange when confronted with stress.

Anyways, despite the insanity in my life, I'm excited with the idea of sharing our experiences with each other and offering and receiving advice when needed. I would be glad to meet some friends on here that have the same mental anguish, haha. (I try to laugh at how neurotic I am.

Best wishes and Hope for a New Long-lasting Relief,
Skitzy (JK)
