Trazodone

I have another medication question. When I started Lexapro I ended up with really bad insomnia, right away. I had had some mild insomnia (early morning waking) prior to starting the Lexapro, but nothing like this. So I was prescribed Trazadone to help with sleep. It has helped, but I still have worse insomnia than when I started the Lexapro. One question I have is whether this insomnia is likely to improve at any point while taking Lexapro. The other is that, although I am feeling better than I was, the last several days I have been really tired in the morning and feeling depressed. It tends to improve as the day goes on, but, could this be an effect of the Trazodone? I also take the Lexapro in the morning, so I'm not sure whether it might just be largely out of my system by that time, so I end up feeling more depressed?
