Hi,
I have had self-esteem issues since I was a teen, and I have had anxiety since I was a teen. I'm in my mid 20's now. I just started taking anti-anxiety medication a few weeks ago. Suddenly... my low self-worth is just, gone?
My family and therapist have been telling me that I'm basically a great guy for years. But I just couldn't stop being so self-conscious. Worrying about what people thought about me all the time.
It's so weird, that with the medication, suddenly I'm no longer feeling worried about myself. It's kind of amazing. I hope it lasts.
