Silver Linings. Panic sucks, but sometimes something comes from it that you wouldn't expect. I am both ashamed and proud to admit a good strong attack has fueled some interesting paintings from me.
Does anyone else actually find a weird sort of inspiration from panic.
I painted this one about 2 years ago while trying everything I could to immerse myself into something that would distract me for just a moment to break the spell of anxiety. It was an image that floated around behind my eyelids every time I tried to close my eyes, mocking me, reminding me of my doomed mortality. I look back on it now and see a fragile beauty represented and realised it was more of a reflection of myself and my greatest fears than I could have ever imagined:1528
