I've had anxiety/depression all my life, I used to cut my wrists when I got real upset but I haven't done that in 10 months. I'm 25 years old. I've always been stressed out, anxious, sad, and dealt with it in my own way but recently I returned from a vacation on June 1st and have been sick since I returned, nausea, headaches, feeling like I'm gonna faint, etc. It's not an everyday occurence but it happens frequent enough for me to panic. Been to the ER twice and both times, blood work seemed ok (going to test more for possible Anemia and/or Thyroid disease) ... CT scan was negative for me head issues. So I am leaning towards anxiety coming on in a physical form. Does this happen suddenly? I'm going to see a G.I. Specialist at the end of August for the stomach issues.
I was prescribed Clonazepam today - haven't taken any of it yet but will before bed like directed. I'm supposed to take 1 at night and 1 in the morning. Hoping it will help. I had a horrible headache last night and felt dizzy and I took a xanax and it made me feel almost 100% better. Told the Dr. this and she prescribed Clonazepam because it's longer lasting and less addictive.
Any ideas? I'm trying to stay positive. Start a new job next week, a little worried about having these symptoms while there but hopefully this medicine will help ease the tension my body seems to have.
thanks
