Hey everyone!
My name is Raven! I have been battling with anxiety and maybe even a little depression for the past 3 1/2 years. I was first diagnosed my senior year of high school and had it pretty well controlled for a long while, until recently. I am now 21 and have been experiencing much of what I experienced back then, maybe even a little stronger. I definitely have a health anxiety but not just for myself, for everyone I love. I was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder and it can be quite debilitating at times! Doing some research, I learned that magnesium deficiencies are so pronounced here in the US and 7/10 Americans are deficient in magnesium. Little did I know that being deficient in Mg can cause so many of the symptoms I experience and even lead to anxiety itself. Crazy, isn't it?? So yesterday I began a 218mg Mg supplement and already I feel more mentally controlled--like I am not going crazy anymore. I still experience my physical symptoms but, hello, it can certainly take a couple weeks for the mineral to build up enough for you to see the results physically! For now, I am content knowing that there IS relief possible and finding this form has been my form of therapy! No one in my family struggles the way I do with anxiety, though anxiety itself is not a stranger to my family. I am hoping to get and stay on the road to recovery and learn to take back my life, one day at a time :)
