Hey all!

Looking for some tips on becoming less hypersensitive.

After my first panic attack back in September one of my main concerns/worry is that it's something to do with my heart. I've seen a few doctors and a cardiologist which have all said everything is fine with my heart. Still, it's that "what if" thought that bugs me. Then, any quick ache on my left arm or back sends me into panic and stress over thinking its a possible heart attack coming on. Can't seem to shake this feeling.

Anyone got any good tips?

How exactly do the meds help? Do they make the sensations go away? Or do they help you not think about them? They recently gave me 25mg of Xanax. But I really want to try and overcome this without meds.

The meds help calm you down and you're not as scared or frightened as you were before. I take an antidepressant, which means it's something I take every day. Xanax is usually taken as needed for anxiety, when you're going through a hard time.
