Face discomfort

Just wondering if anyone's had the same as me. Since December I've had discomfort on the right side of my face around the lip / eye area - doctors have said it's neuralgia but isn't that meant to be more painful as this is more of a funny discomfort feeling than painful. Makes me check my face all the time when it happens which is daily.. Ahh just sick of being in pain everyday if not the face it's the arm or chest :( Thanks for any advice

Sounds like TMJ, I'm no medical expert though so I'm not certain. Look it up, It's nothing serious!

Hi do you grind your teeth or notice you clench your jaw?
I used to suffer a lot from the pain you describe. I was forever at the doctors and dentist.
My dentist made me a mouth guard and it helped a lot. By about the second night wearing it I was pain free. I do have pain flare ups now if I forget to wear it or I'm extra stressed.

It might well be tmj like joe said :-)

Not that I've noticed , it's more a discomfort feeling than pain though. x

Discomfort could be TMJ? Like a stiffness?
