Aerophobia, first flight tomorrow w/out benzos

Hey everyone,

I have basically been terminated from my benzodiazepine treatment due to escalating dosages / tolerance / addiction issues. So tomorrow is my first plane ride in about 2 years without any benzos in my system.

I will have trazodone for the night before. And beta blockers for during. And a decent aisle seat toward the front of the plane.

But I know it's going to be rough...

I know exactly how you feel. I made the same post a few weeks ago.
If its any consolation, my flight (that I thought Id barely make it through) actually wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated.
Make a soothing playlist to listen to. Have cool water on hand. Maybe some reading or mind puzzles to distract yourself.
