pains in chest

im sittin at work very worried as i have a pain in my chest now and again. i suffer from anxiety
i have seen many doctors and had blood work and ecg done but that was 6 year ago, yesterday the doctor has sent me for another ecg, blood work and a chest xray, my chest xray is today however im just really worried about this pain in my chest and it feels like my left shoulder is aching

i get chest pain all time ive been to er several times... its scary anxiety is a nasty monster... hope you feel better

I'm currently suffering from chest pain.

Very scary but nothing has ever showed up on any tests with me.
It is definitely the anxiety monster!!

yes ive had blood work ct scans ekgs xrays the whole nine... but the anxiety monster as i call it whispers in my ear tormenting me :(

yepp i think im havin a heart attack all the time. i wonder how such pains are caused by anxiety tho

Are you feeling like you're having a 180 lbs stone "pushing" on your chest? If it was a heart attack you wouldn't be sitting here writing.

It's all normal. When you're anxious you tense your chest muscles alooot. Even though you don't notice it. Learn deep breathing or start meditate. That should make it go away.

I have chest pains a lot too. I've had them so often now that I'm slowly telling myself that it's nothing. I have to remind myself that I don't feel awful or out if breath or anything like the previous poster suggested, otherwise I panic and think I'm having a heart attack too.

i have them every day. its awfull :( sometimes i get breathless but i think thats with worrying and part of anxiety. hope you get better soon :)

I get awful pains now too, but i think mine are related to my gerd. So painful. Kept me up all night.

What do your pains feels like and where are they?

I have tightness all the time, and it turns into pains when I get anxious.. but when I get really angry, the chest pains are nearly crippling. I try to hold my angry in so much that it literally feel like someone stabbing me in the chest over and over. (If I let my anger out, I feel like I can't control it)
