I have had anxiety problems since I was 19 (48 now) and my mother says it's all in my head and I enjoy it and do it for fun. I totally rely on my Xanax. Was off it for almost 2 years but I had a setback and went back on it. I'm really pissed that I'm on it again cuz I don't know how to get off of it. Anyway I encounter anxiety situations daily since my setback (had seizure before I got into my car after grocery shopping = my legs gave out) I walk dogs for a living and it is sooo hard to do it = I only go around the block now = once called my mom (always carry my cell ) and had her pick me and the dogs up when I got "stuck holding onto a tree!

Get on a SSRI
Ditch the Xanax for really bad times
The SSRI should eliminate those times
Does walking dogs really make you enough cash that you don't need another job
I need to do that if so

I live in an over 65 community where some ppl can't walk their dogs. Also, I am waiting for the disability verdict (it is VERY hard to get disb in DE where I live)

Yes what state are you in or is that too personal?
SSRI's have failed me - which ones were you referring to? Already on Buspar.
I've been applying for disability for over 2 years here. I kept getting denied (They said to get a job where you don't have to interact with people.......blah, blah, yadda, yadda) I should have just move to another state = it would be quicker. I finally did have a hearing 2 months ago so they said there would be verdict in 6 weeks - the govt. promises another lie!

Disability (I was trying for temp disability) and they told me that I'm young and that I'll probably be getting over it soon anyways. I really hate that people think that we can just stop being like this, like it a choice! People are stupid. I'm in the states too. (Indiana)
