Hi everyone,
I am not usually good with internet introductions but here it goes.
I have always been an anxious person who grew up in a family of anxiety sufferers but it wasn't until I had my first panic attack two years ago that my anxiety had begun to take over my life. While there are moments where I feel like my anxiety is getting better or I have more control over it, it suddenly just seems to come right back into my life. Along with regular anxiety and panic attacks I also suffer from intense social anxiety, Seasonal Affective Disorder, low-self esteem, and Non-Verbal Learning Disorder (a learning disability similar to Aspergers). All of these factors also contribute to my daily anxiety and interactions with other people.
After two years of suffering and feeling like I am going crazy, I have finally decided to seek support from others who also suffer from anxiety. I am also ready to combat anxiety once in for all because I do not want it to interfere with my life when I move away for Graduate School in August. Other that that I look forward to meeting and chatting with you all :)

Hiya, Sonny. Welcome
If you do nothing and you seem to get better than it starts again, it's because you haven't dealt with the anxiety itself so it likes to show up at inopportune times
It was that way for me early on and it just started showing up more often until I had to deal with the anxiety instead of each thing that would arise and cause anxiety
You're not going crazy but it drives you up the wall at times
And because you come from a family of anxiety sufferers doesn't mean that it keeps getting passed
Become the one who comes to understand what anxiety is, how it works and how to whip its ass
Be the one that stops the cycle in your family
You'll be a hero and your picture will be over all future fireplaces in your family
Are you takin any meds or have you had any type of therapy?
