I hear a lot of people who suffer with anxiety/depression spend a lot of time sleeping. That is something I don't find I can relate too, but I wonder why that is sometimes. I think that if I tried I could probably do the same thing, but I have always been afraid to fall asleep during the day afraid of the outcome when I woke up. So I usually don't sleep I'm active doing everything I normally would be doing. I go to work, I do chores, I do things with the family. Although sometimes it's emotional-less I still do things. Sleeping isn't an option for me during the day.
Does anyone know if sleeping during the day having naps actually would help with anxiety/depression? I do find myself tired, but like I said afraid to sleep during the day. I imagine I'm tired during the day because of exhaustion of dealing with the cortisol increase and all the other stuff going on inside. But also figure maybe I'm not sleeping as deep I as I need too.
