Hi all,
I'm new here and this is my first post.
I have pretty much suffered from anxiety and depression for as long as I can remember. I remember always being scared all of the time and always got picked on. By the time I was in high school I'd almost pass out from fear of talking in front of the class. Once I turned 18 I found alcohol and this seemed to make me feel better ( well kind of ) unknown to me at the time it was making my anxiety worse and worse. Fast forward ten years and I had been in hospital with heart palpitations from the alcohol. I especially noticed the day after a big night I would feel right off.
It's now been a year since I've had a drink and my symptoms are : racing thoughts, fear of dying, pins and needles in my arms and face, feeling very fatigued, chest pains etc. I get nervous driving long distances because I get so light headed.
I am currently on citalopram but I have been on pristiq, aropax,endep and advanza. Has anyone had the same experiences and been put on a decent medication?
