Eat:
Kefir, Kombucha, Sauerkraut, Kimchi + most fermented foods (these populate your stomach with good bacteria which have a profound impact on the nervous system + mental state). Unpasteurized dairy, organic veggies/fruit & meat if possible.

Don't eat:
Processed foods, heavy grains, unfermented soy, unsprouted seeds/legumes

If you need extra calories, I'd start adding a spoonful of coconut oil to each meal.

I don't know if you have this where you are but I drink a lot of fruit smoothies and if I don't have time to make them in the morning I grab one to go. There is a brand called Bolthouse that makes them, really good stuff, in the fridge section at the store, usually with the organic veggies and fruits and there is another one called Arthurs and they both are awesome.
