Soooo over Celexa!!!

Any sugesstions of a med that ACTUALLY WORKS?!?? That doesn't cause weight gain and lethargy??? One that people can actually function on?! My Dr obviously has her head up her ass and can't take it out long enough to actually see the ramifications of her guinea pig theory?! I don't want to be a F'N guinea pig for "try this one" we'll up your dose! Grrrrrrrrr

Any suggestions for my idiotic Dr to consider??

It is so annoying isn't it. I have gone through a good deal of weight gain on meds too. I'm trying hard to drop it again.

I don't know, it seems the Guinea pig thing seems hard to avoid. Just seeing how different everyone responds to different meds is amazing to me.

I hope you can get a med that works for you soon.

I was a really bad anorexic when i was 10-16 so something that could cause weight gain is not an option.. Gives me a panic attack just to think about!
My Dr put me on Celexa for that reason..
Ive been on Seriquil? Effexor, and Celexa.. Been offered Wellbutrin and Abilify.. But told they could cause weight gain.. So i paid for it and threw it in the cupboard.... Xanax and Ativan have been apart of my life from 16 years on..
