Citalopram advice

Hey all

i managed to get to the docs today and iv been prescribed 20mg of citalopram daily

i suffered with anxiety for a good three years and never took a single medication, half due to being sceptical and the other due to being scared.

my anxiety died off for a year but has recently returned, being the reason i went back to the docs
and now im left in the same position i was all them years ago, do i start taking this anti-depressant or not
because again im sceptical and scared.

advice would be much appreciated thanks

Kris123 is doing the Citalopram thing. She has a thread you can comment on if you want, ask her about any side effects (if she doesn't mind)

Advice much appreciated? Start at 10mg for a week or two! :)

20mg can sometimes be too much right off the bat for us folk!
