prozac

I've just been prescribed prozac 10mg daily and I'll start Friday, this is the first meds I've ever taken for social anxiety, situational anxiety and depression. I've done too much searching around on the Internet about how it affects people and how they like it.. To be honest the side effects are freaking me out! Can someone tell it to me straight up how it overall effects you?

I was on Prozac for about 10 years and recently went back on it again. 60mg per day. I never really noticed any side effects other than constipation. Of course everyone is different but Prozac seems to be pretty well tolerated.

Not on that med but please don't Google,node is going to work for everyone as if that was the case everyone would be on the same one,it worked for so many people and it will for you,try and relax, it will take a few weeks
For you to notice but that's the same with all the meds,I know it's hard to be patient when you're feeling pants,but be reassured that it will
Work and you will feel better :)

I have been on Prozac for a couple of months. I was extremely anxious about the side effects and really freaked myself out about taking the medication when I started. I experienced a lot of nausea the first night then had trouble sleeping that week but that was all. I put way too much thought into it & should have just let it do it's job. Try not to stress, it's done me a lot of good. After 6 weeks my doc out the dosage up to 40mg which is still fine. I almost feel like I'm back to being my old self xx

I was on Prozac and had really bad side effects. Lots of nausea and trouble sleeping. The side effects will eventually go away. But it never really helped my depression or anxiety.
