Just read this whole thing about the sending people to mars in 2024.. thats insane. Gave me a moment of panic thinking about going to mars and never being able to come back to earth. And it takes 210 days to get to mars! Once youre there thats it.
And 200,000 people have already signed up to go. I admire the courage and the love for adventure and the unknown in these people.
Would anyone here consider going on a one way trip to mars??

I would how ever like to go up into Space before I die. My Dad has been into the stratosphere whilst he was on the V-Force in the 70s. Apparently you can see the curvature of the Earth there & the sky is dark blue. Sounds awesome!

I don't think I could handle the trip being one way.. or anyway for that matter..I rarely travel outside of my state so it's out of the question! ..But it's interesting to see if this happens only ten years from now.

Yeah, there are so many cool things I haven't seen on Earth, I'd probably stay. I'd probably get kinda claustrophobic too, knowing I was in a rocket, and couldn't go back, or get out or anything for almost a year.

I remember listening to Buzz Aldrin talk about how lonely space was, and how sad he felt looking down disconnected from earth. I'm one of those people who'd probably feel the same.
