Anyone take ativan ?

I have them prescribed but only take when needed so I suffer most of the time bc the dr told me if i take them all the time they will stop working... Anyone take them regularly ? Do they help ??

What dosage?

I agree with your doc. They (1mg) worked for me at the beginning but not as well as I had hoped. The mild effect I got from them didn't last long. Upped my dose to 2mg and things got worse for me and I had some rare side effects from them. I just started using clonazepam with better results.

Ativan is a short time acting med and it very good when the PA starts. Avoid taking it on regular bases because is habit forming and messes up with out short time memories...

I'm only on 0.5mg but hardly ever take them unless it's an emergency.
