Not a big fan of either Sandra Bullock or George Clooney but this was a pretty good film. The amazing effects made the film as the storyline is just so unbelievable. One of her better performances.

I love films. Over the Christmas break me and my girls have watched every Christmas film going. Snuggles in mummy's bed with some chocolate. I love kids films, light hearted and full of messages. The lady adult one was 2guns. Quite violent. Not really into that anymore cuz of my anxiety but it's ace. Really good funny parts In it. I laughed loads through it. :) cx
Carrie (2013)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1939659/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Not bad in terms of remakes, but does nothing the original did'nt do ten times better. Lacks any horror elements though unlike the original and is aimed more toward teens.

Lone Survivor

Captain Phillips
Usually love me some Tom Hanks but was a bit underwhelmed by this.
5/10
What?!! This was an amazing film - one of Tom Hanks better performances.
The American Hustle.
Some stellar acting from an all star cast but I found the plot to be very disjointed. A great film but not "The Film of the Year" as the critics made it out to be.
8/10.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
A vast improvement on the first instalment. Critics claim it suffered from being the middle instalment & too long; for me however the story flowed well & didn't seem too long. I am rather biased as I am a great fan of JRR Tolkein.

You might watch as many movies as I do haha :). The lone survivor I personally found awesome. I also recommend the book bc it's crazy how much of that is true that happens in the movie. I was curious about captain Phillips !

Agreed mate, Lone Survivor was a great film. Considering all the hype surrounding Captain Phillips i was expecting more. It's a good film don't get me wrong, just not great. I suppose there is only so much you can do with the subject matter. I also read online that the actual crew of the ship after watching the film said the way the film portrays the captain is widly innacurate.
But what can you do, it's Hollywood..:D

Zero Dark Thirty (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/zero_dark_thirty/)
One of the most compelling & gritty films I have seen it a long time. It really is a fascinating dramatization of the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. Jessica Chastain delivers a powerful performance to bring together what could otherwise be an overly long & dark film. The last 45 minutes had me right on the edge of my seat!

Winter's Bone (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/10012136-winters_bone/)

I haven't watched I'd say a brilliant film in a long time these new films these day are brilliant don't get me wrong but there all mainly based on CGI to get viewers attention which it does but I like a good film without all that, powerful ones like my favorites,
The Shawshank Redemption,
Once Upon a Time In America,
Goodfellas,
The Godfather Trilogy,
Bloodsport,
Double Impact,
Kickboxer,
They don't make em like they used to lol
Ok maybe not the
Best film but I've just watched magic mike
