prescription paxil for anxiety?

I was prescribed paxil for anxiety and am also taking remeron. I hven't yet taken the paxil-because of all the horror stories I've been reading about. Is there anyone who has had any succes with this drung-and how does it affect you? If there are withdrawls--then there must be side effects that make it work. Anyone with experience with this drung-please reply. Thanks..Mayrose

I don't know about paxil, but I wouldn't recommend combining antidepressants.

I was prescribed 10mg of Paxil. I had horrific adverse effects- within 12 hours of taking it I was overly anxious, overly stimulated, my eyes were dialiated, I was shaking and unable to control my body temperature. However, my sister takes it and love it. I think each and every person is different. I stopped taking it after three days because I literally felt like i was going crazy.
