Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Watching a Christmas Special, they mentioned EMDR, I've watched the video at the following link before, but never heard it mentioned on TV.

Anybody experiment with this yet?

It's supposed to be bona fide, most treatments are not as simple, I expect, as this video. I've watched this on the TV, med size screen, hooked into the stereo, you can get immersed into it.

There's some controversy about whether or not it works, but that's the case with just about everything.
