Still on the tail end of the withdraws. Forced myself into work tonight. Was literally a blubbering fool when leaving the house. But I'm here, (Card Dealer at a major Las Vegas Casino) problem is I'm freaking out. Management has grown tired of me calling out and leaving early due to my affliction, plus Christmas is almost here and I have a wife and a little boy. So, I'm practicing my breathing and waiting for my shift to begin. I'm trying my best to hold it together, and work hasn't started yet.

I'm at work too, it's hard but when there just try to fully consume yourself in the job.. Do other things if possible.. I clean. Concentrate on the surrounding sounds if you can.. Just try not to get stuck in thoughts which is extremely hard to do I know.. Just try your best mate..

That's what I've been doing. Just focusing on the job. The pain in the ass is that I'm going through withdraw and my entire body aches. Just kicks up and reminds you. But I'm taking it nice and slow, focusing, going to try and stick it out.

I made it. I'm exhausted physically and mentally, but I made it. One day down, four to go.

I find it harder to deal with my anxiety when I'm at work, probably because I don't/can't let people see me anxious. That tends to stress me out even more than I would usually be.
I'm glad you made it through, try and keep focused.

Well done! Just remember, we all have to work.. It's hard but life can't be on hold because we don't feel good. The world Dosent care, you have a bad day and just stay inside all day, the next day the sun still rises. Don't let each day just pass, don't get left behind. Push through this and eventually you will feel like yourself again, and you can fully enjoy life's gifts.. Take it one day at a time mate.. You can do this, all of us can.
