Hi! I am still kinda new here. Only posted a while ago a few times. However, for the past 2 months I have been on sertraline/zoloft 25 mg/day to 100/mg a day. I think "maybe" I am feeling that slight "lift" they talk about, but just barely. I have also been prescribed klonopin (sp?) with it. What is everyone else on and how's it working? I wanna know if I should continuing upping the does or risk switching even though I now feel something. I have anxiety, and OCD, so my psychiatrist says I may need up to 200mg/day, but the sedative effects are a win/lose for me. I feel calmer, but I never feel quite fully awake. But that may be the klonopin and zoloft combo.

In other news... I ave basically been disowned by my family... and feel numb...and yet sad. Idk... Anyone relate? Idk how I should feel, and it's confusing. :(

I have am on Zoloft 50mg but only on day 6 of taking it I don't see the gp until a week on Monday so will see what he says not sure if he will up my dose I hope not because I don't want the side effects again but then again he won't know if it's working until 4 weeks of taking it I suppose

Yea. They told me about 3-4 weeks too. So I just started a new dosage but already feel effects. I was 25mg, then 50mg, and now at 100mg, I definitely feel side effects. I do not feel my problems are solved yet, but I would hate to have to start decreasing my dosage and start a whole new medication and wait. :( I put in so much time already on these. Let us just hope our doctors are making good enough guesses and we can minimize any negative side effects while increasing improvement with anxiety. I have more SE's, but sleep much longer and hardly feel truly awake. I can't see a doc again until January so I'm kinda stuck with it. Hope it all goes well for you though :)
