don't know whether I should go to my gp

Ok so for the past 2 days I have been having palpitations but I am on propanolol so I am not sure it should be happening I am also coughing at times to get my breath

I would either speak to your gp or call Nhs 24 for advice. It might just be anxiety symptoms - what dose of propanolol are you on? You might just need a higher dose. I take 40mg 1-3 times per day

I take 30mg three times daily I can take it up to 40 if I want to but I just started taking Sertraline today so don't really want to up my propanolol dose

I used to get palpitations alot for about the 1st 2/3mnths of takin propranolol 80mg slow release bt since ive lowered my dose i dnt get them half as bad anymore

May be that ur dose is too high or too low

Ah I will have to ask nhs helpline see if they can help
