Just started it and wanted to get some feedback on how it went for anyone the first week. I am starting very low at 5mg then we are going to increase slowly due to my sensitivity to side effects. Thank you.

Hi chewie, Paxil didn't agree with me at all. It made me so tired and drowsy all the time, to the point where I couldn't function properly. It also had really negative sexual side effects for me. I had to quit it.
Sorry to be a downer, but one of the reasons I'm sharing this is because I believe you've posted elsewhere about problems you've had with other anti-depressants that i had no problems with at all. So this is a a good sign! Because you may well end up doing really well on Paxil, since the other ADs were difficult for you. Whereas I had very few side effects on other ADs, but did badly on Paxil.
Sorry if my logic is too convoluted!! At any rate, I really hope Paxil works well for you!
